Belgrade Fair

In front of more than fifteen thousand people, the English band Jamiroquai played a concert in Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair that will be remembered and talked about for a long time.

It had been ages since a foreign band was welcomed with so much positive energy, and Jay (Jason) Kay, the band’s singer in his trademark hat, put on a real show and drove the crowd into a frenzy.

They played their biggest hits, didn’t overload the set with songs from the new album, and thrilled everyone in the hall. At one point the lights went out and Jay Kay appeared on stage with a glowing Jedi lightsaber! Kay definitely won the hearts of Belgraders when he said “I know what you have been through,” and then launched into Too Young to Die.

The finale was breathtaking. After an unprecedented ovation, they came back for an encore with Deeper Underground, thanked the audience for a fantastic welcome and promised to return to Belgrade.
